Job summary
A reputable recruitment firm in Hertfordshire is seeking a Bid Writer to join a successful main contractor. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of tender processes and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include overseeing bids, developing win strategies, and leading bid document production. Experience in the construction industry and a relevant degree are preferred. This role offers a competitive salary between £50,000 and £55,000 plus a package.
Qualifications
- Experience of bid management and bid coordination on traditional contract forms.
- Proven success in winning bids/tenders within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical, oral, and presentation/communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all bids within the department to ensure consistent content and presentation.
- Develop a strategy for winning individual bids.
- Lead production of bid documents in various formats.
