A reputable recruitment agency is seeking a qualified social care manager in Tendring, UK. The role involves managing a diverse team, providing professional legal advice, and conducting regular supervision to ensure compliance with Youth Justice standards. Ideal candidates should be prepared for an immediate start and be onsite at least three days a week. The position offers competitive pay at £35.13 per hour for 36 hours a week.

Subject to service needs, the candidate is required to be on site a minimum of three days
To manage a staff team from a variety of disciplines and agencies, such as qualified Youth Justice Practitioners, unqualified and Social Work England registered social workers, Probation worker, CAHMS nurse, Speech and Language Therapist and gang’s worker to name a few.
To provide professional advice and support to all staff on professional issues and in carrying out their statutory duties as stipulated in the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, the Children Act 1989, the Children Act 2004, Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, Youth Justice National Standards, HMIP Inspection Framework and other related regulations, guidance and legislation in relation to the Youth Justice System. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all day-to-day queries emanating from their areas of lead responsibilities.
To offer regular supervision and case management review to monitor practice, both generally and in respect of individual cases; to ensure that team members fulfil expectations in relation to Youth Justice National Standards, HMIP Inspection Framework and the Youth Justice & Targeted Prevention Service's responsibilities, policies, and standards and that the practice addresses disproportionality.
