Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our incredible team in Newhaven. This is a permanent part-time position (30 hours per week).
At our Newhaven service we support 6 people who share their home and we also support an individual who lives in the community. You will provide high-quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities. Your role is to help people live as independently as possible and to enjoy a great life. It would be preferred if you hold a full UK driving licence; two of the people we support have their own cars and would like you to be able to drive these so they can access places they want to go.

Part time: 30 hours
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
- Days: Between 07:00-22:00
- There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
*Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
