Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cover Ranger to support our animal care team across multiple sections, with a particular focus on primates, reptiles, and invertebrates.

We’re looking for someone with a strong interest and background in these taxa who can confidently step into varied roles, ensuring high standards of husbandry, welfare, and enrichment are maintained across the collection. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic working environment, thrives on flexibility, and is eager to broaden their experience in a supportive and professional setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Providing daily care, feeding, and enrichment for species across the wildlife park.
2. Monitoring animal health and behaviour, and reporting any concerns.
3. Assisting with public engagement through educational talks, experiences, and encounters.
4. Supporting enclosure cleaning, maintenance, and accurate record-keeping.

1. Full-time, 45-hour week (including weekends and bank holidays)
2. Salary: £28,203.97 per annum
3. 28 days annual holiday (January–December)
