A UK environmental organization is looking for a Conservation Officer to lead impactful environmental projects in Blackpool. This full-time position involves practical conservation work and community engagement to enhance local green spaces. You will collaborate with volunteers, schools, and local groups to restore habitats while fostering a connection to nature in the community. A clear DBS check is required for this role, which offers a competitive salary and a contract until June 2028 with the potential for extension.

Salary: £27,336 – £30,179
Full Time: 36.25 hours per week
Pattern of Work: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (includes 45 min unpaid lunch break). Flexible start and finish times to be agreed with line manager
Base: @TheGrange, Dinmore Avenue, Blackpool, FY3 7RW
Work Locations: Travel across Blackpool and occasional travel beyond as part of the Nature Towns and Cities network
Fixed Term Contract: Until June 2028 with potential extension, subject to available funding

From restoring wildflower meadows and wetlands to training volunteers and working alongside schools, community groups and partners, you’ll be at the heart of a 10‑year vision to build a healthier, greener Blackpool.
