A regional health service provider is seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Nurse to join the Endoscopy Pre-Assessment team in Carmarthen. The role includes reviewing patient care plans, managing high-risk cases, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in endoscopy nursing and are encouraged to apply if they can communicate in Welsh. This position offers a salary range of £39,263 to £47,280 pro rata.

We have an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Nurse to join the Endoscopy Pre-Assessment nursing team delivering individualised assessments across all four endoscopy suites in Hywel Dda.
Independently responsible for reviewing patients care to ensure all pre operative management care plans have been completed appropriately and the patient is fit for pending procedure.Identify patients who are deemed high risk of complications and co-ordinate care as appropriate.Manage a caseload of patients, co-ordinating care and services in order to improve the patients surgical journey.Ensure the process of reviewing care and treatment plans is robust and accurate.Work closely within the multidisciplinary team with clinical support from specialist endoscopist when required.Act as a resource and advisor to individuals and colleagues on issues relating to the pre assessment process.Support and advise pre assessment nurses in the development of nurse led pre assessment clinic in line with approved protocols.Develop and maintain competencies to enable development in practice in line with service development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
