Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Named Nurse for Safeguarding to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective care across our services. In this key role, you will support the Safeguarding Team to ensure the organisation meets its contractual responsibilities to safeguard children, young people, and adults with care and support needs who access our services both directly and indirectly.

You will work collaboratively with partner agencies, the wider safeguarding team, and colleagues across HCRG Care Group, promoting best practice, providing expert advice, and ensuring robust safeguarding processes are in place and consistently followed.

Main duties of the job
  • Be responsible to and accountable within the managerial framework of HCRG Care Group Services.
  • Support the BU Head and safeguarding team to ensure that the organisation meets its responsibilities for safeguarding
  • Deputise for the leadership team when required
  • At all times and in relation to the roles and responsibilities listed, work as a member of the organisations safeguarding team.
  • Management of the Safeguarding Specialist Nurses, delegation of work and provision of supervision
