Hayward Hawk are delighted to be recruiting for a proactive and detail-focused Scheduler to join our client's busy operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth flow of customer orders through the business – from managing shortages to releasing orders to our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be organised, solution-driven, and able to communicate effectively with both internal departments and external suppliers. This is a full time, permanent, role with hybrid working.
- Monitor and manage product shortages, ensuring timely resolution and communication across departments.
- Release customer orders to the warehouse for picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to resolve stock availability issues.
- Maintain accurate order schedules within our ERP system, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Work closely with customer service to provide order updates and expected lead times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling and order flow processes.
- Produce regular reports on shortages, delays, and scheduling performance.
- Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, supply chain, or operations role (manufacturing/warehousing environment desirable).
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise confidently with internal teams and suppliers.
- IT literate with experience using ERP/MRP systems (training provided) and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
