Job summary
A logistics provider in Stoke-On-Trent is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team. This position offers competitive annual earnings of around £43,000, inclusive of shift enhancements, bonuses, and overtime. The ideal candidate will have a valid C+E licence, strong understanding of EU regulations, and a safety-focused mindset. - Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely, legally, and efficiently
- Complete all deliveries and collections to schedule and standard
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Follow company procedures and ensure full compliance with EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Maintain accurate records and work in partnership with our transport team
- Act as a professional ambassador for MTT at all times
- Valid C+E (Class 1) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months' UK-based Class 1 driving experience
- Strong understanding of EU Drivers' Hours and WTD legislation
- No more than 6 points on licence (no TT, DD, or DR codes)
- Professional, safety‑first mindset and excellent communication skills
