Salary & Shifts

Salary: £23.50 an hour

Overtime: £35.25 an hour

Shifts: Tuesday to Saturday shifts 17:00 to 01:00, Sunday 06:00 to 14:00.

What We’re Looking For
  • Relevant Qualifications: PSV, HGV, or light vehicle maintenance and repair (minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). We’ll also consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant hands‑on experience if you’re not formally qualified.
  • Full UK Driving License: Must have a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • PCV License: A PCV license is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain one.
  • Medical Fitness: Ability to pass a PCV pre‑employment medical.
  • Commitment to Quality: A passion for delivering safe, reliable, and high‑quality maintenance work.
Your Role
  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs on a fleet of commercial buses.
  • Ensure that all vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs meet Arriva and DVSA standards.
  • Assist with MOT preparation, preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.
  • Improve bus reliability through continuous monitoring, maintenance, and repair.
