Job summary
A leading law firm in London seeks a BD Events Executive to oversee events and external marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in Marketing/BD focused on events in a professional setting, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems. The role involves client queries, promoting events, and researching venues.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Marketing/BD with a focus on events.
- Valid work experience in relevant sectors like law, accountancy, or financial services.
- Ability to manage workload and produce high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for client queries.
- Promote seminars and events internally and externally.
- Research venues for external events.

The Company:
We are working with a leading, full-service commercial city law firm who are looking for a BD Events Executive to join their team in the London office. This role requires a candidate with strong analytical skills to oversee the firm’s events and external marketing activity. The role holder will report to the Head of Business Development.
The Responsibilities:
- Be the main point of contact for client queries and enquires
- Promote externally and communicate internally on all upcoming seminars/webinars,
- events and online content
- Research venues for external seminars/events
- Assist with external conference/exhibition preparation
- Monitor content and manage the production of videos across all social channels
- Produce client, competitor, client, and market research
- Explore new initiatives whilst building relationships with the firm’s partner charities
The Candidate:
- 2 years of Marketing/BD with a focus on events experience in a professional working environment
- Knowledge of MS Office, CRM databases, and Email Marketing platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Demonstrable to continuously produce a high standard of work and being able to prioritse workload
