IT Field Engineer Apprentice - Onsite Support & Training
Job summary
A leading IT services provider in Greater London seeks an experienced IT Field Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd line support. Responsibilities include hardware installation, troubleshooting, and delivering onsite support. Ideal candidates are tech enthusiasts with relevant qualifications and experience in client-facing roles. This role offers an £22,000 - £24,000 salary with opportunities for advancement in IT qualifications. The role requires travel across England and flexibility in working conditions.
Qualifications
- Tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs including Maths and English.
- Experience in a client-facing support role.
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and installation of desktop/server hardware.
- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment.
- Providing first-line support to users onsite and over the phone.
