An educational recruitment agency is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent starting January. Ideal for recent English graduates, this role involves providing both 1-1 and group support, adapting the curriculum, and collaborating with teachers to create individualized learning plans. The position offers a chance to gain valuable experience in teaching, with a possibility of permanence later on.
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school based in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to start in their English department in January.
This is a great opportunity for a recent English graduate who is considering a career in teaching.
As a Teaching Assistant based within the school’s English department, you will provide both 1-1 and group support. You will adapt the curriculum, ensuring that students have access to the required support. This will require you to work closely with the Class Teachers and Head of Department to create and implement individualised learning support plans.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
