A recruitment agency for education professionals is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a Blackpool Academy to support Year 4 students. Contract: Temporary (February Half-Term to July 2026).
Hours: Wed - Fri, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term-Time Only).
Salary: Paid to Scale £13.88-£14.88 ph (Pro Rota - term time).
The Role:
Our Blackpool Academy is looking for a resilient, calm, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our Year 4 team. This is a crucial role providing general classroom support while focusing specifically on pupils who require extra guidance with emotional regulation and consistency.
A key part of your day will be supporting "bridge" moments helping children manage school transitions (moving between lessons, break times, lunch, and assemblies) to ensure they feel safe, settled, and ready to learn.
