Job summary
A government resourcing firm seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for a sensitive defence programme in Hemel Hempstead. The role requires current MOD DV clearance and is fully on-site, 5 days a week. Candidates must have a strong delivery mindset, proven experience in complex environments, and the ability to manage risks, dependencies, and senior stakeholders. This position offers a day rate inside IR35 for sole UK Nationals only.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders within a classified environment.
- Own project governance, reporting, and assurance in line with MOD standards.
- Drive issue resolution at pace while maintaining compliance and operational continuity.

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a highly sensitive defence programme. This role is fully on-site in Hemel Hempstead and requires current MOD DV clearance.
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Project Manager in complex environments
- Comfortable working on-site 5 days per week
- Strong delivery mindset with the ability to manage risk, dependencies, and senior stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders within a classified environment
- Own project governance, reporting, and assurance in line with MOD standards
- Manage delivery impacts related to secure communications and/or physical estate changes (where applicable)
- Drive issue resolution at pace while maintaining compliance, security, and operational continuity
- Background delivering projects within MOD or Defence
- Experience with secure messaging systems
- Exposure to building moves / infrastructure relocations
