A leading defence organisation in the United Kingdom seeks an accomplished Project Manager to lead key manufacturing projects. You will work within a dynamic and collaborative environment, managing project scope and risks while interfacing with stakeholders across national and international teams. Candidates should have experience with cross-functional project management and be proficient in project planning tools. The role offers competitive salary, a company bonus, and flexible working arrangements.
Circa £45,000 depending on experience
2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Being a key member of the project management team you will have the opportunity to lead crucial projects within the manufacturing organisation, collaborate with other team members, challenge the norm and implement change within the organisation.
The role will provide many stimulating challenges, personal development opportunities and the chance to work both with teams throughout the UK and internationally.
This role is responsible for projects that are owned and delivered by MBDA UK but the majority of the production is completed in the supply chain or in other MBDA national companies (France, Italy, Germany) where a high degree of stakeholder management and multinational co‑ordination is required. Other responsibilities include the delivery of transversal work packages that support multiple programmes.
