A government resourcing firm seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for a sensitive defence programme in Hemel Hempstead. The role requires current MOD DV clearance and is fully on-site, 5 days a week. This position offers a day rate inside IR35 for sole UK Nationals only.

Senior Project Manager - MOD DV

📍 On-site: Hemel Hempstead (5 days per week) 📅 6-month contract 🔐 MOD DV clearance required Day rate: Inside IR35 Sole UK Nationals only.

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a highly sensitive defence programme. This role is fully on-site in Hemel Hempstead and requires current MOD DV clearance.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience operating as a Senior Project Manager in complex environments
• Comfortable working on-site 5 days per week
• Strong delivery mindset with the ability to manage risk, dependencies, and senior stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders within a classified environment
• Own project governance, reporting, and assurance in line with MOD standards
• Manage delivery impacts related to secure communications and/or physical estate changes (where applicable)
• Drive issue resolution at pace while maintaining compliance, security, and operational continuity

Nice to Have

• Background delivering projects within MOD or Defence
• Experience with secure messaging systems
• Exposure to building moves / infrastructure relocations
