Job summary
A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee significant capital projects for the Council. The successful candidate will manage complex construction tasks, particularly in heritage settings, while coordinating with various stakeholders. Proven project management experience is essential. This role is a fixed-term contract with competitive pay in a great working environment.

Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager? Are you between assignments and looking for a placement? We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to deliver the Shirehall and HMAG capital projects on behalf of Herefordshire Council. This high-profile role requires proven experience in managing large, complex construction projects, ideally with heritage buildings, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders and funding groups. - Leading project delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget control, and high-quality outcomes.
- Act as the Council's representative with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Manage heritage-specific requirements and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide clear updates and reports to the Council and funding partners.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
- Heritage building project experience highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Relevant construction-related qualifications preferred.
- Contract: Fixed-term contract (FTC) basis, 26 weeks.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (37 hours per week).
- Pay: £67.71 per hour.
