Description
Duties of the Finance Supervisor include but are not limited to:
- Supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Review and approve financial documents, including invoices and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members in the Accounting & Finance department.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management review.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within finance operations.
Profile
A successful Finance Supervisor should have:
- A strong background in transactional finance.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a small team effectively.
- Experience with financial software and tools for reporting and analysis.
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
