About Midnight:

The Midnight protocol is a zero-knowledge data protection blockchain platform, enabling developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) that require fine-grained control over what data is disclosed on-chain. As the first blockchain to offer programmable data isolation, Midnight enables selective disclosure and compliance with legal and commercial privacy requirements—without sacrificing decentralization.

The Midnight Foundation is the protocol’s ecosystem enabler, advancing adoption through business development, partnerships, grants, and developer engagement.

What the role involves:

As an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the adoption of the Midnight protocol and its surrounding ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing strategic partnerships, growing developer and enterprise engagement, and shaping the future of secure decentralized applications.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive adoption of the Midnight protocol.
• Identify, prioritize, and pursue partnership opportunities across the Web3, enterprise, and open-source developer ecosystems.
• Negotiate and close partnership agreements that support strategic goals and unlock new ecosystem value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including founders, technical leaders, investors, and community influencers.
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, engineering, and legal teams to align go-to-market initiatives with core objectives.
• Provide strategic insights into emerging market trends, competitive landscape, and partnership performance.
• Represent the Midnight Foundation at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings.
• Track, analyze, and report on KPIs related to ecosystem growth, adoption, and partner success.
  

Requirements

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven success in business development, partnerships, or growth roles—ideally within blockchain, fintech, or enterprise tech.
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, especially ZK technology, DeFi, privacy infrastructure, or digital identity.
• A robust network across Web3, with relationships in developer communities, L1/L2 ecosystems, wallets, dApps, or regulatory-focused ventures.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills—able to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced and remote-first environment.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, project management tools, and basic data analytics
