Location: Cardiff, South Wales

We are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, ideally based in South Wales. You will be conducting the full range of asbestos surveys and analytical duties, across a range of commercial, domestic and local authority client sites. The role is within an industry‑leading Asbestos Consultancy, who have nationwide coverage and a reputation for offering great further development opportunities. It is essential that applicants have good hands‑on experience within the industry and will hold all BOHS/RSPH qualifications. Cardiff, Newport, Barry, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Swansea, Brecon, Abergavenny, Ross‑on‑Wye, Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Thornbury, Dursley, Stroud, Bristol, Bath, Keynsham, Yate, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater, Frome, Trowbridge, Warminster, Devizes, Swindon, Chippenham, Glastonbury.
- Will have obtained the P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
- Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Will have worked within a UKAS Accredited company
- Working knowledge of HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Hardworking attitude
- IT literate
- Undertaking asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across commercial, domestic and local authority stock
- Collecting samples from site for analysis
- Conducting 4‑stage clearances and personal, background, reassurance, smoke and leak air testing
- Producing site‑specific technical reports
- Meeting with clients to discuss survey / analytical findings
- Working to set deadlines
- Ensuring asbestos removal projects run in accordance with HSE guidelines
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
