Our client, a well‑established multi‑disciplinary consultancy with a nationwide presence, is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their workforce in and around the Middlesbrough area. Applications from Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Whitby, Northallerton and surrounding areas will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake legionella risk assessments following ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Compile schematic drawings and produce final documents.
• Provide recommendations and quotation prices for remedial works and routine control measures based on the assessments.
• Carry out remedial works as required.
• Conduct monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Survey water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
• Collate and produce accurate reports.
• Build strong working relationships with the company’s extensive client portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Risk Assessment course (City & Guilds) or equivalent internal training.
• Extensive experience in legionella risk assessment within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
• Residence in or willingness to commute to the Middlesbrough area.
