Responsibilities

Job Description

Our client is a successful building services company, who provide a range of water treatment and HVAC commissioning services to clients throughout the South of England. They are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC / Water Commissioning Engineer based in or around the Southend-on-Sea area. Consideration will be given to candidates with both HVAC and water commissioning experience. Applications from Chelmsford, Basildon, Wickford and the surrounding area will be considered.

Experience
  • Will have previous experience working as a commissioning engineer within the water treatment or HVAC industry.
  • Proven experience in balancing air and water system.
  • A good working knowledge of the BSRIA guidelines would be desirable.
  • Ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports.
  • Efficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines.
  • Ability to manage own time and workload.
  • Confident in building and maintain client relationships.
  • Holds strong communication skill.
Role
  • Commissioning air and water systems.

  • Carrying out service work strictly and in accordance with the client’s specification.
  • Conducting training of staff as when required.
  • Inspecting project installations as and when required.
  • Producing reports and preparing quotations.
  • Undertaking some water treatment duties to suit business requirements.
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining a good rapport.
