Job summary

A leading Water Hygiene company in Stockport is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to conduct risk assessments and surveys on various water systems. You will work under ACoP L8 guidelines and be expected to build strong client relationships while utilizing handheld technology for data collection. The ideal candidate will have a City and Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment and excellent communication skills. A competitive salary package with training is offered.

Legionella Risk Assessor – Stockport, Greater Manchester – Salary: £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Overview

This position is with an established Legionella/Water Hygiene company offering opportunities across Healthcare, Leisure, Retail, and Local Authority sites. You will work alongside experienced risk assessors, carrying out risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems in line with ACoP L8 guidelines. Further training, development, excellent holiday allowance, pension contributions and competitive salary package are provided. Due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to stay away in line with client requirements.

Consideration will be given to candidates from the following areas: Oldham, Rochdale, Warrington, Liverpool, St Helens, Wigan, Bolton, Manchester, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Bury, Preston, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must hold City and Guilds/WMSoc qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor within an established Legionella/Water Hygiene company is beneficial.
• Demonstrated excellent knowledge of ACoP/HSG guidelines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
