Conekt Legal is partnering with a leading global Top 50 law firm to recruit a Senior Solicitor to join their highly successful Digital Legal Delivery team in their banking & finance practice. You’ll work directly with prestigious multinational banks and financial services clients on complex, high-profile finance and derivatives transactions, all while being part of a renowned legal brand that’s at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work directly with a range of leading global banks and financial institutions on a broad range of banking & financial transactions.
2. Collaborate with the London Derivatives and structured finance practice and engage directly with clients and counterparties.
3. Manage negotiation projects, including ISDAs, GMRAs, GMSLAs, and other trading documentation.
4. Participate in regulatory change initiatives such as Initial Margin projects and large-scale derivatives outsourcings for asset managers and banks.
5. Build and strengthen client relationships, acting as a key point of contact on matters.
6. Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, contributing to strategic objectives and business development.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Qualified Solicitor (NI/ROI/E & W) – 2+ years PQE.
2. Expertise in derivatives and structured finance, with experience in high-end, multi-jurisdictional transactions.
3. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage complex client relationships.
4. Experience in negotiating and drafting financial documentation, including ISDAs, GMRAs, and other derivatives agreements.
5. Leadership skills with a proactive approach to team management and business development.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering high-quality, cost-effective legal services.
