Senior/ Lead C# .Net engineer
Location: Hybrid / remote (based in Manchester, Leeds or London)
Salary- £70,000 - £80,000

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing B2B SaaS company undergoing a large-scale technology transformation. With recent investment this organisation is scaling rapidly - the development team is at the heart of the growth.
With a recently refreshed platform this company is already receiving excellent feedback from customers. Now, they're embarking on a major greenfield transformation and seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to drive technical delivery, accelerate speed to market, and raise the bar on code quality.
As a Lead Engineer, you'll:
Be hands-on with delivery (70% backend / 30% frontend) while also influencing architecture, tooling, and product direction. C#, .NET, React, Azure
Communicate confidently with senior leadership while diving deep into technical problem-solving.
Play a pivotal role in evolving a monolith architecture into a modern SaaS platform.
Help shape engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development on Azure.
Contribute to a high-performing engineering culture in a business with strong leadership and long-standing expertise.
5+ years of commercial experience in software engineering.
Strong backend skills with .NET 6+ and Entity Framework / EF Core.
Frontend expertise with React and TypeScript.
Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure AD B2C, Azure Front Door, etc.)
Experience working in fast-paced, agile SaaS environments.
Someone who thrives on solving problems hands-on rather than people management.
Bonus: Razor Pages, NoSQL, CI/CD expertise, or experience modernising legacy systems.
