A community care organization in Faringdon is seeking a Team Leader for their new Extra Care Scheme, Fern Meadows. The role involves overseeing service quality, managing care documentation, and supporting staff and clients. Ideal candidates will have at least a year of experience in the health and social care sector and be working towards an NVQ Level 3. This position requires 37.5 hours of work per week, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Are you a caring individual living in the Faringdon area looking for a role where you can give back to those living in your community? We're recruiting for 2 Team Leaders to join our team at our brand new Extra Care Scheme Fern Meadows, opening in October 2025.
Fern Meadows is set in the town of Faringdon, surrounded by beautiful greenery. Fern Meadows is an Extra Care development comprising 60 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Clients get to enjoy the privacy of their own stylish home, they will also have the choice to enjoy the facilities at the scheme. This includes our communal lounge, hair salon, restaurant, activity room, buggy store, guest room, and landscaped gardens.
What will you be doing as a Team Leader?
As a Team Leader you will be working alongside 1 other Team Leaders to ensure that service runs smoothly from shift to shift and ensuring we provide an excellent standard of care to all within the service. You will be ensuring that Support Plans, Risk Assessments, MAR charts and other paperwork are completed and updated on a regular basis. You will also be working alongside Support Workers supporting with direct care visits when required as well as completing monitoring checks including medication competency, spot checks and carers assessments.
The role would be 37.5 hours per week and would include morning & evening shifts as well as alternate weekends.
