An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Disciplinary Coordinator to join our Cancer Service Office. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing expertise in proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly. The role also involves working closely with consultants and serving as the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathway of care, working alongside consultants, cancer nurse specialties and trusts.

• Track the progress of cancer patients through care services (e.g., Radiology and Pathology) and core services (e.g., Health Records).
• Coordinate Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings to facilitate the provision of care and core services.
• Provide administrative support to MDT meetings, ensuring all relevant information is available to enable clinical decisions to be made and recorded according to evidence-based protocols.
• Serve as the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathway of care.

• Excellent people skills and a positive approach to change.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a busy, challenging environment.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary environment is an advantage.
