We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. In this hands‑on role, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of machinery, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and equipment operates at peak performance.
- Conduct reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to maintain reliability
- Diagnose and repair issues with motors, drives, sensors, relays, and PLCs
- Work from electrical diagrams and technical manuals
- Maintain safe working practices and comply with H&S regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver engineering excellence
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven track record in an electrical maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, inverter drives, electrical schematics
- Competence in PLC fault finding and input/output systems
- Background in manufacturing or heavy industry (desirable)
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a team environment
