Job summary
A recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs across the UK. The ideal candidate possesses extensive electrical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing plant and machinery. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of up to £48,000, with an OTE of up to £60,000, requiring regular travel throughout the UK.
Qualifications
- Experienced in conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
- Familiar with implementing preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ability to diagnose faults with various machinery.

Cherry Professional are looking for an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to conduct Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, servicing and repairs to machinery UK wide.
Working Monday – Friday. Please note this role also includes regular travel UK wide.
- Diagnosing faults with machinery
- Servicing and emergency repairs
- Carry out asset care plans and PM schedules across a range of automated filling and packaging equipment, robotics, site services and liquids processing equipment.
- Operating within a CMMS system
- Electrical fault finding
- Root cause analysis
- Diagnostics
- Plant, machinery, and services breakdowns, identifying root cause, and implementing the required mechanical and electrical asset care.
- Assist with contractor servicing of plant, machinery, and services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Follow maintenance schedules and carry out routine servicing of machinery
- Process Improvement, Quality, reporting and Safety.
- Extensive Electrical knowledge
- Experience working on a range of electrical and mechanical breakdowns repair of plant, machinery, and services.
- Experience of implementing PM schedules
- Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic systems.
