Job summary
A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician in the Hull area. The role involves HVAC and electrical maintenance across commercial properties and requires a Level 3 engineering qualification and experience in building maintenance. The ideal candidate should possess strong compliance knowledge and be articulate. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £48,000 per annum.
Qualifications
- Level 3 professional engineering qualification required.
- 18th edition qualification ideal, F-Gas 2079 preferred.
- Proven experience in building maintenance within a commercial environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete HVAC/electrical maintenance across commercial estates.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Respond to Helpdesk requests in a timely manner.

Position: Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician
Location: Hull / Humberside
Type: Permanent
Salary: £48,000 PA Mon‑Fri
- Completing building services HVAC/electrical maintenance across commercial grade estates
- Planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems
- PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
- Respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
- Work on AHU’s, fan coils and general HVAC plant room
- Mechanical and fabric tasks where required
- Compliance checks, small works projects
- Lead works providing guidance to resident maintenance personnel, client managers and sub-contractors
- Provide guidance on compliance and scheduling of checks plus visibility of compliance records
- Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3
- Ideally electrical engineering / Qualified Electrician or respective level mechanical/AC qualification
- Multiskilled background, experience on general HVAC plant including AHU’s, fan coils etc.
- 18th edition, ideally F‑Gas 2079
- Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
- Must be presentable, articulate with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records
- Able to clear security check
- Driving licence and willing to operate on a mobile basis
- Familiar with Facilities Management Sector
