Function:

The Business Consultant will work for the customer and the Itineris project and service delivery teams, responsible for the success of the UMAX solution by ensuring customer needs are managed from a business and market regulations perspective. The Business Consultants will focus on providing relevant business and market guidance to our application consultants and support mediation decisions with the customer Business.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR and requires experience of the market in Ireland, both ROI and NIE and ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is our software solution for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and enabling better customer engagement.

As our Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you…

• Act as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts to ensure business needs are translated into functional requirements.
• Attend workshops & meetings onsite with the customer.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing.
• Contribute to the evolution of the standard UMAX solution.
• Collaborate closely and develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project delivery teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and identify risk areas.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to customers.
• Work with consultants to upskill according to industry best practices and understand the Irish energy market.
• Continuously develop knowledge of the Utility market in Ireland (ROI & NIE) and transfer knowledge to colleagues.

What you bring

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in business requirements and understanding of business processes.
• Skills in Business Process management.
• Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to travel to client sites.
• A team player with problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and quality-driven.
• Customer-oriented and adaptable to change.
