What You Will Do

• Provide leadership and line management for front-line operational services, ensuring high-quality assessment and case management for vulnerable adults.
• Undertake exceptionally complex cases when required, delivering expert, hands‑on support to service users and carers.
• Drive continuous improvement in practice and service standards through the application of specialised knowledge, skills, and reflective practice.
• Oversee the delivery of safe, effective services by investigating, chairing, and reviewing adult safeguarding episodes as necessary.
• Manage a skilled and multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Assessors, and support staff, and act as Team Manager when required.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies that support local and national policies, including self‑directed care and personalisation.
• Champion anti‑discriminatory practice and uphold local authority policies, ensuring inclusive and equitable service delivery.
