Job description
My clients are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (FREIGHT) to join their successful team!
Daily Duties Would Include:
- Selling air, road, sea, and courier services
- Internal and external pricing
- Cold calling
- Client visits
- Liaising with key accounts, sales, and operations
- Quoting customers and follow-ups
- Updating customer tariffs
- Rate negotiation
- Identifying market trends, potential, and customer needs
- Leading marketing and communicating the product offering across the business
Skills Required:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Freight sales experience
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong negotiation skills
- PC literacy
- Full UK driving license
