Overview

Can you support senior leaders by providing insight and intelligence on digitalisation and AI developments in the maritime sector? Have you monitored and analysed UK policy, regulations, and market trends to advise on changes supporting government and industry objectives? Do you engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure balanced, informed approaches that align with government, industry, and public needs?

Responsibilities
  • Support senior leaders by providing actionable insight and intelligence on digitalisation and AI developments.
  • Monitor and analyse UK policy, regulations, and market trends to advise on changes supporting government and industry objectives.
  • Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure balanced, informed approaches that align with government, industry, and public needs.
  • Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the maritime sector, using horizon scanning and trend analysis.
  • Present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including policymakers and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Experience and understanding of AI, Big Data, IoT, Machine Vision, Augmented Reality (AR), and emerging areas such as Quantum Computing.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and deliver outcomes.
  • Strategic insight – experience supporting senior leaders by providing actionable insight and intelligence.
