Primary School Class Teacher – Middleton
Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025 (or ASAP depending on availability)
Contract Type: Long Term / Short Term (Full-Time)
Hours: 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and committed Primary School Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Middleton area. Key Responsibilities
· Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
· Pupil Engagement: Inspire children to reach their full potential in a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
· Assessment & Feedback: Track pupil progress and provide regular feedback to support learning.
· Classroom Management: Create a calm and positive atmosphere using effective behaviour management strategies.
· Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support every learner.
· Safeguarding: Promote and uphold safeguarding policies to ensure pupil wellbeing.
· Professional Development: Participate in ongoing CPD to stay current with best teaching practices.
Role Details
· Position: Primary School Class Teacher (Year group may vary based on experience)
· Contract: Long-term (potential to become permanent), full-time
· Start Date: Ongoing recruitment – September start preferred
· School Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester
· Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM
Candidate Requirements
· Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS
· Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a UK primary school setting
· References: Two recent professional references from UK schools
· DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
· Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK
· Safeguarding: Recent safeguarding training is desirable (can be provided)
