Currently, we are in search of a Pump Technician to join our thriving Aberdeen (Ellon) Service Centre, which is experiencing substantial growth with considerable investments offering numerous avenues for career advancement. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Dismantle and record dimensional findings, detailing any fault on the report form.
• Repair of components e.g. fitting and pinning wear rings, bushes, pressure testing, dynamic balancing etc.
• Reclamation of pump components to enable safe re-use.
• Assembly of basic pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions.
• Assembly of complex pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions. Assist team to troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Compile records and reports as required, and comply with all relevant Company Procedures and Processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of various pump systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with pump systems and implement effective solutions.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components and the ability to perform hands-on repairs and adjustments.
• Be able to demonstrate clear and effective communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
