A leading telecom service provider is looking for a Presales Consultant in London. This role involves working closely with Sales Executives and Account Managers, delivering technical consultancy, and supporting the sales team during the customer engagement process. The ideal candidate has a telecoms background with BSS knowledge and excellent communication skills. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.

Overview

Our client is an international and leading provider of business support systems (BSS) within the telecoms industry, with more than 20 years’ experience. We are looking for a Presales Consultant with a background in telecoms to work with Sales Executives and Account Managers in all aspects of the sales cycle, for the full digital BSS stack (all products and services).

Responsibilities
  • Be able to comfortably give presentations and write responses to customer requests.
  • Deliver technical consultancy and product knowledge to customers via written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Support the Sales Team with customer-facing technical pre-sales assistance.
  • Design, describe, and manage the solution engineering of products.
  • Understand customer requirements and articulate the value propositions and benefits to develop a winning value proposition through bid management.
  • Support and implement the launch of new products and ensure successful handover to Delivery teams.
Working Arrangement

Hybrid working — 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. The client’s office is located in Central London.

Requirements
  • Background in telecoms with experience in BSS (billing, CRM, charging, subscription management, CPQ, service activation, provisioning, product catalog, revenue assurance, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience of real-time / convergent charging environments (pre-paid and postpaid solutions).
  • Experience with Communications Services Providers (CSP) Customer Care and Billing business analysis consulting.
  • Able to engage in all aspects of long sales engagements and the preparation of commercial proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage bids, make proposals, and present systems demonstrations.
  • Ability to travel internationally when needed.
