Job summary
A leading manufacturing business in Northampton is seeking an experienced QSHE Manager for a six-month fixed-term contract. The role involves leading quality systems with a focus on ISO 9001 compliance, conducting audits, and ensuring health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in similar roles and excellent problem-solving skills. This is a fully site-based position with no remote working option.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a QSHE Manager, HSEQ Advisor, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and audit processes.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support production quality systems focusing on ISO 9001 compliance.
- Plan, conduct, and report on audits to maintain quality standards.
- Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Skills
A leading manufacturing business in Northampton is seeking an experienced QSHE Manager to join their team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is a fully site-based role, so applicants must live within a commutable distance. There is no remote working option. The contract may be extended or could develop into a permanent position.
- Lead and support production quality systems, with a focus on ISO 9001 compliance
- Plan, conduct, and report on internal and external audits to maintain and improve quality standards
- Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across the site
- Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Provide guidance and support to teams on QSHE and quality matters
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
- Proven experience as a QSHE Manager, HSEQ Advisor, or similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and audit processes
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
- Ability to work independently and make an immediate impact
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
