About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Assistant to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, have a strong understanding of sales processes, and be eager to contribute to our company’s growth. As a Sales Assistant, you will support the sales team in achieving targets and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and support.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer inquiries and make recommendations.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and objectives.
• Assist in maintaining store displays and stock levels, ensuring the sales floor is presentable at all times.
• Handle customer complaints and returns with patience and professionalism.
• Participate in promotional activities and assist with in-store events.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any stock shortages or issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive customer experience.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sales Techniques: Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Technology Skills: Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a specific industry or product line relevant to our business.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with inventory management and stock control.
• Basic understanding of sales metrics and reporting.
