We are seeking a reliable and experienced First Sales to work in our busy Bakery shops based in and around the Wigan area.

This role will be responsible for assisting the shop manager in all aspects of shop operations, driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service and ensuring staff carry out their shop duties. This role requires strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to motivate and develop your team.

Duties:

- Assist in managing the day-to-day shop operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service

- Lead and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing shop environment

- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional manner

Schedule:

23 shops so must have own transport.
Sunday to Saturday 5/7.
Sunday cover when required.
Expected hours: Minimum 30 hrs per week.

Job Types: This is a full-time permanent position.

Pay: £12.83 per hour to £14.00 when covering for the shop manager

Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Retail management: 1 year (preferred)


Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person in Wigan and surrounding area's.
