We are recruiting for a Sea Freight Coordinator to join our Stock Control and Distribution team based at our Biggin Hill office.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate the transport and distribution of company equipment worldwide, including hazardous goods, in compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
• Operate plant, including forklifts, as required and when qualified.
• Accurately prepare shipping documentation and declarations as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for sea freight enquiries and requirements.
• Liaise with logistics partners and regulatory bodies, maintaining positive relationships.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Known Consignor Security Program and Security policies.
• Contribute to and prepare reports related to freight and sustainability.
• Advise on freight legislation implications, exploring shipping options to meet targets while ensuring compliance.
• Assist in developing and updating internal systems related to freight and distribution, including stock control and asset tracking.
• Support logistics planning and budget preparation.
• Monitor and report on work progress, updating the Head of Department regularly.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and H&S protocols.
• Experience with warehouse management software and stock control systems.
• Hold Dangerous Goods Awareness certification.
• Experience in logistics, focusing on sea freight.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation, including ATA Carnets.
