Relief Wrapping Machine Operator

Monday - Friday am - pm and pm - pm, alternate weeks

The Relief Wrapping Machine Operator works as part of a team to pack and feed biscuits according to site requirements and may stand in as a Wrapping Machine Operator. The role is accountable for product and process delivery, requiring a proactive attitude and a commitment to high standards. Opportunities for progression include training to become a permanent machine operator and moving lines across the factory as needed.

• Manually packing products within specifications
• Visually checking for foreign matter/hazards
• Ensuring product quality and safety standards
• Reporting problems to supervisors
• Maintaining hygiene standards
• Supporting improvement initiatives
• Coordinating with production processes

• Carrying out pre-start checks
• Ensuring product quality and specifications
• Understanding equipment setup
• Completing changeovers and re-work procedures
• Adjusting machinery for consistency
• Filling documentation correctly
• Maintaining safety standards
• Completing shift handovers
• Training peers and new staff
• Basic problem diagnosis and maintenance

Assessments: Aptitude and English tests (~ minutes). Interviews: 30-45 minutes competency-based based on company values and experience.
