A regional health authority in Cardiff is seeking a Deputy Director of Public Health. The role involves leading public health initiatives, developing local policies, and ensuring effective cross-cultural communication. This is a replacement post for a Deputy Director of Public Health / Consultant in Public Health / PHMedicine working as part of the Local Public Health Team in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The team is currently based in Woodland House, Llanishen, Cardiff.
The postholder will be expected to cope with multiple and changing demands, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate high levels of intellectual rigour, negotiation and motivation skills, flexibility, tact and diplomacy, and an ability to understand other cultures to enable effective working across organisational boundaries and influencing without authority.
