Job summary

Qualifications

  • Previous clean water network or commissioning experience.
  • Hold EUSR Water Hygiene or be willing to obtain it.
  • Good understanding of disinfection and sampling.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Be Working

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Carry out pressure testing, flushing, chlorination and de-chlorination of new and existing water mains and services and set up and operate dosing equipment safely in line with COSHH and company procedures.
  • Take and record water quality samples, liaise with the lab and client on results and prepare and follow RAMS, permits and isolation plans; complete site records and test certificates.
  • Work closely with site teams to plan access, timings and shutdowns and keep customers and stakeholders informed of any planned interruptions to supply.
Qualifications
  • Previous clean water network or commissioning experience.
  • Hold EUSR Water Hygiene or be willing to obtain it.
  • Good understanding of disinfection and sampling and strong H&S focus, especially around chemicals.
  • Hold NRSWA and DOMS (advantage).
  • Full UK driving licence required.
