A leading technology manufacturer in Poynton is seeking a Quality Controller to maintain high standards in manufacturing. - Carrying out QC inspection of electro-mechanical products.
- Ensure all product documentation complies with manufacturing process requirements.
- Coaching Production staff to ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards.
- Supporting the QA team with quality deviations.
Skills
We're looking for a Quality Controller to help us maintain the highest standards in our manufacturing department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hardworking individual to join a busy and fast-paced team. Poynton has an excellent heritage in Global Defence & Security markets. The team manufacture a wide range of products including Satellite Communication, Power Management Control, Surveillance and Counter-IED equipment's. Manufacturing and test skills employed include electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, panel / cabinet wiring and testing of the final built assemblies. This role is on a full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours flexitime across 4.5 days per week.
- Carrying out QC inspection of a wide range of electro-mechanical products.
- Ensure all product documentation complies with manufacturing process requirements.
- Coaching Production staff to ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards
- Supporting the QA team in relation to any trending quality deviations
- Experience working in a similar role
- Experience inspecting to IPC 610/620 standards (desirable)
- Ability to interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills
