A leading engineering firm in Stockport seeks a skilled Assistant Site Manager for energy infrastructure projects. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates have experience in construction, excellent organisational skills, and relevant certifications. If you're ready for a fast-paced role, we'd love to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures and construction best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
Responsabilités
- Oversee day-to-day site activities across energy infrastructure works.
- Coordinate subcontractors and deliveries to maintain workflow.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare daily/weekly reports.
Connaissances
Formation
Assist in overseeing day-to-day site activities across energy infrastructure works
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and deliveries to maintain workflow and programme.
Support site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Monitor compliance with health & safety, environmental requirements, and project specifications.
Conduct site inspections, record progress, and prepare daily / weekly reports.
Maintain site records, permits, and documentation in line with project and regulatory standards.
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar role within the energy, utilities, or civil engineering sectors.
Strong understanding of site safety procedures and construction best practice.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work proactively, take initiative, and collaborate in a fast-moving environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, SSSTS / SMSTS, First Aid) are highly desirable.
