You\'ll bring:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction contracts & legislation
- Excellent negotiation, analytical & communication skills
- A proactive, time-efficient approach to work
- A relevant degree or HNC + experience
- A full UK driving licence
As our Quantity Surveyor, you\'ll take the lead on:
- Managing and overseeing all commercial aspects of construction projects
- Collaborating with the estimator on feasibility studies & cost appraisals
- Working with design teams and buyers to source & price materials
- Managing subcontractors: tendering, placing orders, certifying work
- Acting as the bridge between site managers, engineers, project managers & clients
- Tracking & managing budgets, valuations & variations
- Identifying commercial risks & driving cost control initiatives
- Mentoring junior surveyors to build team capability
- Delivering clear, structured reports to stakeholders
- Cheltenham-based office with site visits
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
