A new and innovative school in Wolverhampton is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and help shape the future for children with special educational needs. Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs our new therapist, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing bespoke communication plans. This isn't just about managing a caseload; it's about making a tangible difference in the lives of our students. You will:
Deliver specialised assessments and therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate closely with school staff and parents to support communication goals.
Lead training and consultation sessions to build capacity across the school.
Contribute to a culture of reflective practice and continuous professional development.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and nurturing individual with a strong work ethic. You must be able to manage your workload effectively and be ready to start immediately.
Hold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or an equivalent qualification.
Be a fully registered member of the RCSLT and HCPC.
Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
This is a permanent, part-time position of 24 hours per week, aligning with the school's term schedule. The pro-rata salary for this role is £32,302.40 to £38,729.60, which is highly competitive.
