SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Guildford - Education and Training

Job Title: SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Guildford
Salary: £100 - £120 per day, depending on experience

1. Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
2. Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons alongside teaching staff.
3. Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their potential.
4. Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure a high standard of education.
5. Help students develop social and emotional skills as well as academic progress.

1. Previous experience working as an HLTA, particularly with SEN students.
2. A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. HLTA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
5. A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
